Headstock veneer filled and ready for spraying.
Black tinted lacquer over the filled areas followed by 2 heavier coats of clear and a bit of amber over the logo for that extra uber coolness lol.
Will be adding a few more coats then sand smooth and polish.

The photos make it darker and thus lose how much lighter and faded it is in person and how gradual the burst is, unfortunately.
Hi. I'm in Seattle and really like your work. I was wondering if you had some time to help me ID a Burney that I purchased off of eBay? I wish I had found the Les Paul forum before I bought it as I cannot tell whether it is a MIJ or MIK, MIC by just looking at it. Build quality seems good, but it's my first electric, so I am not versed in the obscurities of manufacture. I could send you some pictures.
